UAB Dimedium Lietuva (hereinafter referred to as dimedium.lt or company) acknowledges that personal data protection is important to you, our customers and to other data subjects (hereinafter referred to as data subjects), and is committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of every data subject. Data subjects trust us with their personal information, and we have a responsibility to work every day to live up to their trust.

This privacy notice:

defines dimedium.lt commitment and responsibility to protect and respect a person’s privacy;

explains how dimedium.lt collects, uses and protects (processes) personal data;

informs data subjects on how their personal data is processed and what rights every data subject has.

The privacy notice (last update made in August 2022) is applied in those cases when a person is using dimedium.lt products and/or services, as well as when he/she is visiting our website.

Terms

Personal data means any information related to an individual – data subject, whose identity is known or can be directly or non-directly identified by using relevant data.

Customer means any person, who orders, buys or uses our company’s services. A customer with whom dimedium.lt has concluded a contract has to ensure that all final users (e.g. employees) who use the company’s products ordered by the customer, would get acquainted with the privacy notice and comply with its provisions.

Depersonalized data means information that is not related to an individual because personally identifiable elements have been removed from the personal data set.

Services means any products and/or services offered by dimedium.lt, both electronically and non-electronically.

When using electronic communication services, data is created that can, for example, show information about subscribers and the terminal devices they use, the start and end time, duration and route of the connection, the data transfer protocol, the amount of data transferred, the actual geographic location of the terminal devices of the user of electronic communication services location, format of data transmitted by the communication network, and other data processed in electronic communication networks or in the provision of electronic communication services. If traffic data directly or indirectly allows the identification of a person, it is also considered personal data.

Location data means data indicating the actual geographical location of the terminal devices of the user of electronic communications services.

How do we collect your personal data?

Dimedium.lt offers a wide variety of veterinary products and services. Information that is collected about you depends on your ordered products and what information you submit to us when you order products or what you enter in our websites.

We collect data:

Which you provide, for example, when you communicate or have a commercial relationship with our company, for example, when you purchase goods or register for inquiries, or contact us with a request for information;

Which is generated when you use the services, as far as this is provided by the applicable legal acts.

Which we receive from other sources, such as other service/goods providers or publicly available registries.

What personal data do we collect about you?

Basic information, such as name, personal identification number, address, personal or company contact details;

Data related to the provision of goods/services, such as the product and its order details, invoicing, payment details, information on consent and non-consent to the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes and provision to third parties, contact details and related records;

Data that is generated through the use of our websites or our services, such as website visit data: session time, duration of visit, pages visited, IP address used during Internet user connection, etc.;

Other data about the use of services, such as data collected using cookies and similar technologies related to Internet browsing, etc.;

How do we use your personal data?

dimedium.lt collects and further processes your personal data only on the basis of the legal grounds defined in the legal acts governing the protection of personal data– in order to conclude and/or fulfill the contract concluded with you, with your consent, when dimedium.lt is required by the relevant legal acts to process personal data and when personal data must be processed for the legitimate interest of dimedium.lt (only if the interests of the data subject are not more important).

dimedium.lt processes personal data for the following purposes:

Conclusion and execution of contracts for the provision of services/goods; accounting of customers and payments according to concluded contracts; submission of publishable customer information on public lists; protection of the creditor's interests and prevention of material losses; customer debt collection. We process personal data that is necessary to ensure the proper provision of services to our customers, in order to properly identify a person, accept and fulfill orders, provide customer service, issue invoices for services, carry out credit control, debt collection, investigate complaints, etc.

Direct marketing. We process both depersonalized data and personal data for direct marketing purposes.

Conclusion and performance of contracts; ensuring the provision of services/goods; customer solvency assessment and debt management; assessment of the quality of customer service; protection and defense of the company's rights and legitimate interests; collection of evidence (recording of telephone conversations). We process your telephone conversations when you call dimedium.lt or answer the calls of the company's employees, recordings and data provided during conversations, so that we can properly assess your solvency, manage debts, enter into contracts with you and ensure the quality of the services provided.

Other purposes for which dimedium.lt has the right to process your personal data, when you express your consent, when the data needs to be processed due to the legitimate interest of dimedium.lt or when smartfarm.lt is required to process data by relevant legal acts. We can process personal data for other purposes as well, if we have obtained the consent of the data subject or we have the right to process the data based on a legitimate interest. We also process personal data in order to properly fulfill our legal obligations related to, for example, accounting, providing data to competent authorities when required by the law.

In all the cases mentioned above, dimedium.lt processes personal data only to the extent necessary to achieve the respective clearly defined and legitimate purposes, taking into account the protection of the data subject's privacy.

dimedium.lt ensures that personal data is processed accurately, honestly and legally, that it is processed only for purposes that correspond to the goals set before collecting personal data, that it is processed only in strict compliance with the clear and transparent personal data processing requirements established by legislation.

How do we store your data?

Ensuring the security of your personal data is very important to us.

To process your personal data, dimedium.lt has implemented appropriate organizational and technical security measures that help protect personal data from accidental or illegal destruction, alteration, disclosure, as well as from any other illegal processing. dimedium.lt carries out security activities and protection of technical devices.

To whom do we provide your data?

For data processors who provide us with services (perform the work) and process your data on behalf of dimedium.lt, as a data controller. Data processors have the right to process personal data only in accordance with our instructions and only to the extent that it is necessary in order to properly fulfill the obligations set out in the contract. With the help of subcontractors, we take all necessary measures to ensure that our data processors have implemented appropriate organizational and technical security measures and maintain the confidentiality of personal data.

Data processors may be established outside the Republic of Lithuania, the European Union or the European Economic Area. If we transfer your personal data to such processors, we will take all necessary legal measures to ensure that your right to privacy continues to be properly protected.

For companies processing joint debtor data files. dimedium.lt has the right to provide the data controllers, processing joint data files of debtors with the data of data subjects (debtors) who have defaulted on their financial and/or property obligations in a timely and appropriate manner in order to be able to manage indebtedness. Debtors' data is provided only in compliance with the conditions provided for in the legal acts, after the data subject has previously submitted a written reminder about non-fulfillment of obligations and after the data protection requirements provided for in the legal acts have been properly implemented.

Claim on debt overtaking companies. According to the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, dimedium.lt (the creditor) has the right to transfer the claim to the debt portfolio to another person without the debtor's consent through a sales contract, and both the old and the new creditor can inform about the transfer of the debt.

How long do we store your data?
